NG Enhancements
The following enhancements are available in the NG OPSEC SDK and Check Point NG product.

Changes in APIs

LEA
All OPSEC Partners using the LEA interface should review the "Next Generation" specifications for LEA [PDF 1.1MB] as v4.0 and v4.1 certified applications may not interoperate.

OMI
Partners using the OMI interface should review the NG Object Management Interface Update [PDF 333k] and migrate to the new CPMI interface.

New OPSEC APIs in NG

  • CPMI - Check Point Management Interface
  • AMON - Application Monitoring Interface
  • SCV - Security Configuration Verification
  • Check Point Roaming Administrator (CPRA) - enables One-Click configuration of the OPSEC infrastructure
  • SmartUpdate (SU) - enables remote OPSEC package management
