Check Point and Bluesocket
BlueSocket and Check Point have teamed up to deliver an integrated solution based on BlueSocket’s WG line of WLAN Security Gateways, and Check Point On-Demand Security agent. The WG gateways force all new endpoint connections to be “scanned” by On-Demand Security at the time of connection, catching infected endpoints before they can damage other endpoints on the WLAN network. By leveraging clientless (ActiveX) deployment, endpoints do not need to install any new software in order to pass this inspection. “Clean” endpoints are allowed to proceed with normal access to the WLAN network, whereas infected machines are isolated to a “remediation” network in order to fix the problems affecting these machines.
The joint solution provides the following benefits

Check Point On-demand Security mitigates the risks posed by employee and guest endpoints accessing enterprise resources via the Web.
