The Sentinel Agent for Check Point FireWall-1/VPN-1 collects and normalizes alerts from the LEA Server in real-time and sends them to Sentinel. Sentinel then correlates these events with all other security events gathered from throughout the enterprise to find similarities between attacks. These FireWall-1/VPN-1 security events are stored together with the enterprise-wide events in a central database for historical reporting and trend analysis. |
