MetaInfo Meta IP

Product Version Certified: Meta IP v5.7 with the SAFE DHCP Quarantine Appliance 2.0-7

Certified for use with: Check Point ICS 3.7

Product Description:  MetaInfo SAFE DHCP Quarantine forces all network users to pass site-specific host integrity scanning and authentication procedures before consideration for full network access. Network users that fail the procedures remain quarantined from the rest of the network. SAFE DHCP requires no changes to the DHCP client software and complies with all DHCP protocol standards.

The SAFE DHCP Quarantine Appliance's Host Integrity Module uses the Check Point Integrity Clientless Security solution to identify DHCP clients, scan for malware, and verify site policy compliance before issuing an authenticated lease with access to a protected network.

OPSEC Integration

Meta IP and the SAFE DHCP Quarantine Appliance integrate with the Check Point Integrity Clientless Security solution using the Check Point ICS Host Integrity Module. SAFE DHCP assigns a quarantined IP address and routes users who attempt to access network resources to the ICS-protected web page. If the machine passes the ICS scanning procedure, administrators can configure additional authentication modules, remove the machine from quarantine, or leave the machine in quarantine.
