Key Features and Benefits

MiniKey is a cost effective USB token that enables organizations to authenticate their users in a secure and reliable way. In most applications the user credentials such as PKI keys and other sensitive information is stored on the token. Access to the token' information is restricted by password. Thus provides a two-method authentication: "Something you know (password) and something you have (token)".

A SmartCard technology is embedded in the token ensures that the user credentials are stored in the most secured way. The combination with the USB interface ensures that MiniKey can be connected to any desktop or laptop without the need for a SmartCard reader.

MiniKey comes with 32KB of memory enabling users to store large amount of information on the token. MiniKey supports common security interfaces such as Microsoft Cryptographic API (MS-CAPI) and PKCS#11. This ensures that MiniKey can work "out of the box" with many applications including: CheckPoint's SecureClient and SecuRemote VPN-1 clients and most of the Certificate Authority (CA) solutions.

MiniKey is the ideal solution for organizations that need to enable their clients and users to carry out online transactions, connect through Virtual Private Networks (VPNs), or access Intranets or Extranets.
