|
To protect a vulnerable application or prevent security policy violation, IP360 can instruct Check Point VPN-1/FireWall-1 to block specific network traffic. Based on the policies you set, IP360 will use the network exposures it discovers to trigger host- and port-specific commands to be sent to Check Point VPN-1/FireWall-1®. IP360 uses the Check Point OPSEC (Open Platform For Security) SAM (Suspicious Activity Monitoring) API to communicate with the Check Point VPN-1/FireWall-1 management console and give commands to inhibit or uninhibit network traffic. IP360 can be configured to communicate with any number of management consoles. |
