Key Features and Benefits

RSA Keon was designed to facilitate easy upgrading from other systems and for programmatic incorporation into new or existing application architectures. Customers can use the entire system, or mix and match with components in existing systems.

For example, customers who begin to roll out client side certificates to augment or replace server side-only encrypted Web pages can configure RSA Keon to support browser-based certificate enrollment and delivery. Alternatively, the server can be set to deliver certificates via e-mail for message-based applications. Customers can even program their own enrollment procedures into special purpose clients. In addition, a set of documented interface points for integration with other management applications will soon be provided.

OPSEC Integration
RSA Keon provides certificate enrollment and revocation features for use with Check Point's VPN-1 product. VPN-1 uses Keon digital certificates to authenticate VPN-1 SecureClient and SecuRemote clients to the VPN-1 Gateway, and to authenticate VPN-1 Gateways.
