Product Description: Transparency Vision is a data governance solution that monitors, manages and secures critical business information for auditing and compliance. Based on patent-pending Service Recognition Technology (Transparency SRT), Vision elevates low level log data by abstracting the raw data into higher level business actions. Transparency SRT automatically discovers and monitors the information service requests from applications to databases. OPSEC Integration
Transparency Vision is integrated with Check Point SmartCenter using the OPSEC Export Log API (ELA). When configuring the Transparency Vision in the SmartDashboard , the security policy enables a secure connection between the Vision server and the SmartCenter server. Vision logs and alerts on database activity are then sent to the SmartView Tracker. Once deployed, this integration is seamless to the SmartCenter administrator or auditor.
Solution Concept: Transparency Vision integration allows database activity and event alerts to be received and stored in the SmartCenter Server and viewed in Check Point’s SmartCenter management console applications such as SmartView Tracker. This expands the existing network security architecture to encompass database auditing and intrusion detection for enhanced security and compliance.
