Total Access Protection
DHCP Servers
An effective way to insure "safe" access to the corporate network is by controlling the IP-leases issued to connecting endpoints. At the time of connection, endpoint can be assessed for compliance with corporate security standards. Non-compliant machines are issued an IP-lease that will effectively quarantine them to a remediation network, where they can safely get into compliance while remaining isolated from the production network. Once in compliance, the IP-lease is renewed to allow compliant endpoints full corporate access privileges. Unlike other solutions that require significant network infrastructure upgrades, a major advantage of a DHCP-based solution is that it affects minimal network resources (i.e., only the DHCP servers may need an upgrade). Check Point has tested and certified integrated solutions based on DHCP with the following vendors. DHCP Server Partners: |
