Total Access Protection
Switches

Switches provide an ideal enforcement point for insuring "safe" access to the corporate LAN. At the time of initiating new connections, switches can verify compliance with corporate standards, and force non-compliant endpoints to remediate on separate VLANs, thus mitigating the spread of malware on the network.

To achieve this, switches must support the 802.1X/EAP standards, now commonly available on many switching platforms. This standard enables a communication sessions to occur at the time of connection to the network, whereby endpoint security information as well as user authentication can be properly assessed.

Check Point has partnered with the following vendors to test and certify standard-based interoperability between their products and Check Point's Integrity endpoint security system:.
