Analog Device Gateway
An Analog Device Gateway is a VoIP access device allowing analog phones and fax machines to connect to a corporate or service provider IP network. This approach reduces the cost of a VoIP infrastructure by eliminating the need to convert analog desktop phones and faxes to IP-enabled phones which can contribute substancially to the total conversion cost. These gateways are particularly attractive to small and medium sized companies as well as large enterprises in the earlier stages of migration to an IP-based communication system.
