VPN-1 SecureClient
As employees become more mobile, security solutions must protect against compromised and infected endpoints corrupting or even stealing company-sensitive data and voice communications. Check Point's SecureClient and SecureRemote provide secure access to corporate resources from the endpoint. VPN-1 SecuRemote, included with all Check Point VPN gateways, encrypts and authenticates data to protect against eavesdropping and data tampering. VPN-1 SecureClient further extends security to the desktop by enabling administrators to enforce desktop security policies for remote users.
For VoIP communication using “SoftPhones” (i.e., PCs acting as VoIP phone terminals), Check Point’s VPN clients can insure encrypted communication, safe from eavesdropping. VPN-1 SecureClient can further protect the SoftPhone PC via its native personal firewall. Additionally, SecureClient can also verify that the SoftPhone PC complies with corporate policy for endpoint security (e.g., no Trojans or Spyware), or it can disable all VoIP communication from the non-compliant PCs.
